Assembly line workers as team players
Johnson Controls, automotive supplier, was
commissioned in 1995 to produce car seats for
its client Ford. 160 assembly line workers were
hired, their aptitude for quality and team work
determined in a selection procedure before
undergoing training. The success of the measures
was evaluated in 2000 by strategic training controlling.
